Olivia Bermudez, CSSC, is a bilingual structured settlement consultant in the Los Angeles area. She works primarily with insurance companies, TPAs and self-insureds, primarily in the Workers’ Compensation area of claims. She attends settlement conferences and hearings at the various Workers’ Compensation boards. Olivia has given presentations to TPAs and self-insureds, with an emphasis on cost-savings as it relates to structuring Workers’ Compensation settlements with MSAs. Olivia has attended Administrative Training Conferences held by several annuity companies.

Experience:

Prior to specializing in structured settlements, Olivia worked for a Fortune 500 company as an Accounting Manager. She has over 20 years’ experience in Corporate Accounting, including financial reporting, fixed asset accounting and managing reserves. In that capacity, Olivia’s role consisted of paying close attention to detail, managing corporate reserves, managing budgets and complying with external oversight agencies.

Education/Certifications:

Olivia has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an Option in Accounting from Cal State University, Los Angeles. She received her Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) designation from the University of Notre Dame, and also also holds a Certified Management Accounting (CMA) designation.
