Experience:

Theodore Smyk is based in New Jersey. Prior to joining Arcadia in 2020, Theo’s focus in the industry had been personal injury and workers’ compensation claims with significant future medical needs. In his previous tenures with Optum and Ametros, Theo was exposed to a number of unique aspects of claim resolution. This experience has led to a well-rounded understanding of every facet of settlement solutions, including future financial needs, future medical care, MSAs, life care plans, trusts and liens. 

Expertise:

In addition to his work on resolution of individual claims, Theo is adept in managing programmatic settlement initiatives for self-insureds entities, law firms, insurance carriers and third-party administrators (TPAs).

While Theo works with business partners nationwide, his primary focus is New Jersey and the greater NYC and Philadelphia regions. He has steadily built a reputation with business partners for both his dedication to detail​ and a holistic, proactive approach to settlement consulting and planning.
