Experience:
For more than 35 years, Dennis Sarni, J.D. has worked on several thousand workers compensation and personal injury cases and has assisted defendants and their insurers in quantifying economic damages and resolving their claims. He has been actively involved in this country’s most notorious litigation including food contamination, pipeline and gas explosion, and clergy abuse cases.
In 1979, he joined Litigation Support Corporation as vice president where he provided assistance to defendants and insurers on analysis of future special damages and structured settlements. From 1986 through 1988, he was Western Regional Vice President of Merrill Lynch Settlement Services where he focused on creative uses of settlement annuities to mitigate defendant’s exposure. He worked at Structured Financial Associates, Inc. for over thirty years before joining Arcadia via merger in 2020.
Mr. Sarni has discussed structured settlements on various news programs including the CBS Morning News, CNN, and the Financial News Network. He has authored numerous articles in legal and insurance journals including The Wall Street Journal. He has spoken before the American Trial Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute, and Risk and Insurance Management Society. He is also a frequent lecturer on spinal cord injury and is a past member of the Board of Directors for the National Spinal Cord Injury Association.

Dennis is a certified mediator by the Straus Institute at Pepperdine Law School.
Education:
Dennis earned his B.A. in economics from Boston University, Mr. Sarni received his J.D. from Lincoln University Law School in San Francisco.
Professional Memberships:
Dennis is a member of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association (NSSTA) where he presently sits on the Education Committee and was formerly the chairman.
