Celebrating over 30 years in the industry, Paulette Jacobsmeier is a dynamic and highly experienced structured settlement consultant. She has handled thousands of cases and built a strong, nationwide network of claim professionals, attorneys, mediators, and other industry specialists.
But the most important thing she has done is build trust. Tempering considerable expertise with a rare ability to speak to the human side of the issue, Paulette works hard supporting defendants and their insurers to mitigate risk; and most importantly, to help injured people put their lives back together, even if only financially.
Expertise:
Paulette brings deep expertise in commercial, general, product and truck liability, construction claims including New York Labor Law 240, and medical malpractice, as well as workers’ compensation claims.
She has partnered with national carriers and self-insured companies and is an approved structured settlement broker for leading insurers including Chubb, AIG, Berkshire Specialty, IAT, James River, Zurich, and CNA.
Paulette strongly believes that fully educating all participants during the settlement process leads to informed decisions. A dynamic presenter, Paulette is frequently invited to deliver training and industry updates for those at level one to those who are “leveling up,” on topics ranging from economic loss analysis to advanced negotiation strategies using structured settlements.
Building on her Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) designation, Paulette was among the first in the nation to earn the Master Certificate in Structured Settlement Consulting (MSSC) from the University of Notre Dame and the National Structured Settlements Trade Association (NSSTA).
Personal Information:
Born and raised in Cedar Falls, Iowa, Paulette is a long-time resident of Chicago. It is her Chicago base that easily enables in-person engagements throughout the United States. Ms. Jacobsmeier is an avid photographer and travel enthusiast who has reached destinations as Dubai, Belize, Beijing, Italy, Spain, Morocco, Cuba, Cambodia and Vietnam.
