Brian Loper’s practice areas include: medical malpractice claims for insurers and self-insured hospital groups, Workers’ Compensation claims in the states of Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi, and any liability claim where the best interest of the claimant may be served by payments in the future, especially minors. Brian is willing to meet with the injured party whether at a settlement conference or in their home, while working with insurance company representatives to discuss claim facts and settlement plans to optimize the settlement. He continuously educates himself on developing trends including Medicare issues on liability settlements.

Experience:

Brian Loper began his insurance career in his hometown of Jackson, Mississippi in 1978. His experience includes five years as a risk manager for a large chemical, oil, gas, and mining company and 11 years as an insurance broker, with Marsh & McLennan and Willis, specializing in complex risks. His early involvement as a risk manager in self-insured chemical claims and later the substantial retentions and claims of corporate clients brought Brian to the structured settlement industry in early 1994. Brian has been with Arcadia for eighteen years and started his structure career with Ringler Associates, Inc.

Mr. Brian Loper graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in 1978.
