Expertise:
Les Carrier draws upon his many years managing casualty insurance claims and his legal training to support his clients. Les began his career in 1994 as a Casualty Claims Associate, and has extensive multi-jurisdictional knowledge of the settlement and mediation process.
Experience:
Prior to becoming a Structure Consultant Les Carrier was a Litigation Claims Manager for Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company. While at Nationwide, he managed litigation that included casualty, material damage and product liability claims for twenty seven western states and Canada. Les also has experience as a Structure Marketing Consultant, Casualty Non-injury Claims Manager, Special Claims Representative, and various other claims roles.
Before joining Nationwide, Les served as a securities representative for the New England Life Insurance Company specializing in the sale of life and disability products, financial planning for retirement and estate needs, as well as the sale of mutual funds and securities. In addition, Les served as a Court Administrator for the Lucas County Domestic Relations Court, working with the General and Probate divisions in promulgating rules regarding the mediation program in Lucas County, Ohio.
Education:
Les earned his a Certified Structured Settlement Consultant designation from the University of Notre Dame in 2006. Les has an Associate in Claims Professional designation, and is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio. He is a member of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association and a member of the Ohio State Bar Association.
Personal Information:
As an active member of his community Les served on the St. Brendan School Advisory Committee and the Hilliard City Schools Audit and Accountability Committee. Les previously coached youth football and actively participates in fundraising events for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
