Expertise:

Ms. Kathy Osler’s case assignments have included personal injuries arising from incidences in the areas of medical malpractice, product liability, governmental entities, personal and commercial lines, railroad/FELA, seaman’s personal injury, and state and federal Workers’ Compensation. Other practice areas for Kathy are related to non-physical injuries, such as employment disputes, attorney’s fees, property damage, and other commercial type settlements. She has conducted numerous training sessions for claims professionals, attorneys, and claims organizations.

Experience:

Kathy Osler has been providing structured settlement services since the early 80’s. She opened the first Northwest office for what was then Kenneth H. Wells & Associates, Inc. (a predecessor company of Arcadia) in Portland, Oregon in 1984. One year later, she opened one of now two Seattle offices of Arcadia. She has worked on over 5,000 personal injury claims wherein the claimants and plaintiffs experienced all levels of injuries, including the death of a family member and catastrophic impairments due to brain or spinal cord traumas. Kathy actively participates in negotiations and mediations nationwide, including Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, California, Utah and many more.

Licenses/Certifications:

Kathy holds her life, health, and disability license in multiple states. She obtained her Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) professional designation from the University of Notre Dame. Kathy earned the Certified Medicare Settlement Specialist (CMSS™) designation March 2016.

Education:

Kathy obtained her Bachelor’s of Science degree from Brigham Young University and her Masters of Science degree from California State University, Los Angeles.
