Jeffrey Swigart, JD, Structured Settlement Consultant

Expertise:

Jeff provides expertise in all types of workers’ compensation claims and liability cases. His expertise in workers’ compensation includes the resolution of complex claims, at both the primary and excess layers, in 40 states. He facilitates the resolution of future medical exposures. He assists in the resolution of issues involving Medicare, including the funding of Medicare Set Aside allocations (“MSA’s”) and the implementation of professional administration of the MSA. He resolves older workers’ compensation claims by working and negotiating directly with claimants, who have no legal representation, or with their counsel.

His expertise in the settlement of liability cases includes claims arising from losses in personal and commercial lines, in uninsured and underinsured motor vehicle matters, and in products and malpractice litigation. He participates in the negotiation and mediation of all types of claims. Jeff serves as a speaker at seminars and in structured settlement training programs, involving both workers’ compensation claims and liability claims.

Experience:

Prior to joining Arcadia in 2020 via merger, he was vice president and consultant for Structured Financial Associates, Inc. (SFA). He previously served as a director of an insurance holding company and two mutual insurance companies for 21 years.

Education:

Jeff graduated with honors, from Swarthmore College. He earned a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. Jeff is a licensed attorney and a member of the Pennsylvania Bar.
