GATEWAY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SERVICES

Supporting Families in Need Across Multiple Cities

According to statistics in the United States, every 12 seconds a woman is assaulted or beaten. Domestic violence victims lose nearly 8 million days of paid work per year in the US alone, the equivalent of 32,000 full-time jobs. Domestic violence crosses all demographics and walks of life. For this reason, we devote not only our resources but also our time in supporting the efforts of Gateway Domestic Violence Services.

The Nature Conservancy’s Plant a Billion Trees Campaign

Through the planting of trees in sensitive areas in the U.S. and around the world, Arcadia can sequester more carbon every year than we produce in the performance of our company’s mission. Reforestation fights climate change, creates cleaner air and water and supports species diversity. Research has revealed many health benefits attributed to urban trees, including reductions in asthma, heart disease, obesity and depression. For this reason, our company has chosen to institute a workplace giving initiative during open enrollment benefitting The Nature Conservancy’s Plant a Billion Trees Campaign
